HISTORY:

D. Rabalais Enterprises LLC, dba: Ranger Electrical Constructors is owned and operated by a 4th generation electrical contractor.

In 1919 H. L. "Chubby" Scott started an electrical contracting business in Duncan, OK which relocated the very next year to Mercedes, Texas and became known as Scott Electric Company. Twenty-five years later Mr. Scott again relocated his company this time to the Texas gulf coast of Corpus Christi where it is still in operation today.

Bette Scott, one of Mr. Scott’s two daughters married Lurry Rabalais who eventually took control of Scott Electric in 1955. Mr. & Mrs. Rabalais had two sons, Ray & Scotty. Ray decided to follow his father and grandfathers footsteps in the electrical industry and worked at Scott Electric for the next twenty-one years even after the untimely death of his father at the age of fifty-two.

In October of 1984 a 3rd generation electrical contractor, Raymond E. Rabalais, formed a new company at the age of thirty-seven known as Rabalais I&E Constructors.

Ray had two daughters and one son named Doug who like his father, grandfather and great-grandfather chose the electrical field as his profession.

Ironically, Doug worked for his family business like his father for twenty-one years and at the age of thirty-seven like his father, he left to start his own business known as Ranger Electrical Constructors located in San Antonio, Texas.
